俄新社比什凯克7月5日报道，吉尔吉斯斯坦国家安全委员会新闻办公室发布通报称，情报部门阻止了一起企图用暴力手段夺取政权的行为。通报表示：“我们制止了一个破坏性团伙策划的非法活动，他们正在策划暴力夺取政权的方案，通过造成公民死亡的大规模骚乱，进而令社会政治局势不稳定。”通报称，该犯罪团伙由犯罪意识形态的支持者和宗教狂热分子组成。执法部门逮捕了四名吉尔吉斯斯坦公民，目前将他们关押在看守所里。
对嫌疑人的住所和汽车进行了搜查，查获了自制炸弹所需的材料、武器、弹药、对讲机、防弹衣、制服、无人机、有关极端主义的文献以及其他违禁物品。该部门表示，调查仍在继续，稍后将提供更多的信息。

В своем ежегодном отчете за 2025-й Комиссия США по международной религиозной свободе (USCIRF) вновь рекомендовала включить Кыргызстан в список стран, подлежащих особому наблюдению (Special Watch List).
В документе отмечается, что власти республики продолжают систематически нарушать права на свободу религии и убеждений, усиливая законодательные ограничения и препятствуя мирной религиозной деятельности.В конце июня этого года КР посетила делегация USCIRF во главе с председателем Вики Хартцлер и заместителем председателя Асиком Махмудом. Целью визита стало детальное изучение ситуации с религиозной свободой после принятия новых поправок в закон о религии.Ключевые выводы комиссии:
Новые поправки к закону усиливают государственный контроль над религиозной сферой.Ужесточаются требования к регистрации религиозных организаций, что фактически ограничивает деятельность малых общин.
Продолжаются штрафы и административные меры против мирных религиозных практик.Риски для стабильности общества возрастают из-за ограничений, которые препятствуют свободе совести граждан.
«Эти меры подрывают право людей жить согласно своим убеждениям и создают угрозу общественной стабильности», — говорится в отчете USCIRF.
USCIRF призывает власти Кыргызстана пересмотреть спорные нормы и соблюдать международные стандарты в области свободы вероисповедания. В свою очередь, комиссия рекомендует Государственному департаменту США продолжать мониторинг и поднимать вопросы религиозной свободы в диалоге с Бишкеком.
